ABOUT CLOSINGDAY
A small team. Both halves of the problem.
Most real-estate software gets built by engineers who don't understand the work, or by agents who don't understand the technology. ClosingDay is built by a small team that has lived both sides: thousands of deals on the floor, and years of shipping AI-native software people actually use. We're combining those into the all-in-one workspace we wish we'd had: one product that runs the listing prep, the showings, the open houses, the offers, the seller portal, and the contract-to-close work.
WHO WE ARE
Two skill sets, one product.
The interesting work happens at the seam where deep real-estate practice meets serious software engineering. We've put both inside the same small team.
Real estate practitioners
Decades of combined experience and thousands of closed deals, across buyer side and listing side, in multiple state markets.
Know the texture of TC work: dropped balls, missed deadlines, awkward follow-ups
Have lived the per-file TC bills, the back-and-forth on disclosures, the late-night escrow scrambles
Validate every checklist, every email template, every workflow against real practice, not theory
AI-first software engineers
Deep experience shipping AI-native products, not CRUD apps with an AI feature bolted on.
Treat large language models as the substrate, not a sidecar
Modern systems thinking: streaming, tool use, agentic flows, fast iteration cycles
Years of building software people actually use, shipping fast without breaking trust
HOW WE WORK
We ship like a 50-person team. There are far fewer of us.
Being AI-first is how we build, not a marketing line. We use modern tooling end-to-end, which means features land in days and most user-reported issues ship a fix the same day.
Most reported issues — fixed within 24 hours
Real bug reports from real users get triaged the same day, and most ship within a day. No multi-quarter release trains, no feature freezes.
Features ship in days, not quarters
We use AI to move faster than a small team usually can. The product you log into this week is measurably better than the one you used last week — that compounding is the moat.
Built with users, not at them
Most of what's in ClosingDay came directly from agent feedback. We talk to users every week and turn that into shipping product. Not a roadmap. Real changes you'll see.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
The principles behind the product.
01
Agents own their data — period
Your contracts, contacts, drafts, and tone profile belong to you. We don't sell agent data, advertise to your clients, or do anything weird with the contents of your inbox.
02
You stay in the loop
Every email gets reviewed before it sends. ClosingDay drafts on your behalf — and by default it never speaks for you without your approval. You can optionally turn on auto-send for your own saved templates going to outside parties, with a cancel window; even then, you stay the human in the loop.
03
Domain depth over feature sprawl
We'd rather build a state by hand than bolt on a generic national template. Wrong deadlines kill deals — so each of the 19 states we support is built from the actual contract templates agents sign and verified by practicing agents. The workspace still works in any U.S. state; form-specific depth follows state by state.
04
Honest about what we are
We're early. Some things are still rough. We won't pretend a feature exists that doesn't, and we won't oversell what AI can do. What we promise is: fast iteration, direct communication, and a team that gives a damn.
Have feedback? Want to talk?
We'd genuinely love to hear from you. Bug reports, feature requests, the workflow that's still annoying — all of it lands in our inbox and most of it ships fast.
