File Property Transfer Affidavit (L-4260) + Principal Residence Exemption
Buyer files the Property Transfer Affidavit (Form L-4260) with the local assessor within 45 days of transfer (MCL 211.27a/27b); owner-occupants also file the Principal Residence Exemption (Form 2368).
